• Some institutions without temp bibs/items. Partly due to lacking download port, but also template issues still
  
• UW Law not able to borrow because no ezproxy. Problems may be resolved when they implement WCL
• Volume -- hold placed on incorrect volume
• Interface confusing for patrons
• Edition selection. Would be good if alt editions could automatically be chosen
  
• People think request has gone in, but it is later rejected
  
• Disappearing requests
• Autocompletion (if this is the case, some request work and some don't)
  
• Patron has wrong HL associated so requests go to the wrong scope so all requests disappear
• Frustration with system by patrons and staff with delivery and UI
• Can't search by SuDoc numbers or title
• Availability service -- what looks requestable isn't
• 5 day vs 12 day buttons. If we put need by date in form, we can just have the 12 day button
• Need by date is critical, especially after ILL integration
• LibX WU editions for finding related editions in Summit (Rick, Bill)
• Some records still lack OCLC numbers
• When the usability group gets going WWU has done some testing, and they are willing to share their findings
• Search box should automatically identify type of search
• Drupal or Official Summit pages need a glossary section with definitions of terms
• 856 displays in Summit are bad
  

• Everything needs to be filled
• Alliance members need to agree not to charge each other for ILL (OHSU to WA, UW, WSU)
• Charging of patrons is an issue
• Nonreturnables have some issues
• Load balancing for ILL is an issue but randomizing lending strings is possible

• Will make policy recommendations to Council when they reevaluate Summit policies

• Summit upgrade. Need more staff to look at new version. Need to send handout for new version this week, staff spend one week looking at it, actual upgrade occurs early in week of Aug 3. Anya will call Ralph
• Best practices. Will document that after a few months when best practices have had a chance to be developed. Drupal might be an appropriate platfrom. WWU offered to host. This will be used for "work in progress" versions of documentation. "Official" version will be on Alliance site. Allie will work with Andy to develop the structure of the Drupal site
  
• Easier to work in NRE first and then in Mil
• UW can implement PSU paging slips because they just come from Mil. Rick will help out.
  
• Holds should be placed through web vs. Mil
• Deleting temp bib/item records -- needs to be done
• In test system, need to make sure that if same barcode is used for subsequent requests, there are no matching problems
• Adopting patrons NRE. Kyle will write up how this can be done

• AVAILABLE doesn't mean available. Separate statuses or locations might not be practical
  
• Can't find availability. Must report these problems when they are discovered
• Availability doesn't display properly -- things that aren't available show as available and vice versa. We need to test these systematically and report to OCLC
• Multiple OCLC number problem causes 
• Intermittent availability problems can have multiple causes including technical fault or all ports in use. Contact Cheryl for such issues.
• Kyle, Anya, and Heidi will work on documentation for improvement of FRBRization of requesting

• YouTube tutorials
• Fireside chat (monthly). Contains best questions
  
• SPOT needs to be able to receive email. Need Drupal, FB, email
  
• Will create report for Council. Consider topics for next call
  

• ANYA: Newsletter including policy survey results (Anya), behavior best practices (Nancy and Rick), deletions of temp bibs/items (Jean and Nancy), dealing with multiple pick lists (Rick), advertise new SPOT email (Kyle), announce Drupal page is coming soon, Illiad update (Heidi), Jasper reports (Jean), Availability (Bill), FRBR problem (Heidi) All sections by 7/29.
  
• KYLE and ANYA: make sure duplicate barcodes in test system won't cause problems
• SPOT: need to use test site
• ANYA: will post Jasper reports
• ANYA: will get new list of site contacts and divide them up among SPOT members
• ANDY: known issues site created in Drupal
• Monthly calls must be set up starting in mid August
