Working Group
All Working Groups have a specific charge to communicate with the Steering Team, each other, and the membership with assistance of the Program Manager. Working Group chairs or their designees will attend the Steering Team’s monthly phone conference calls.
Steering Team and Working Group chairs will review and modify charges mid-year, as needed.

Charge for FY09
|
This year, we specifically group charges by tasks and R&D efforts. Tasks are fairly discrete, need to be coordinated mostly with the Program Manager, and will be acted on this fiscal year. R&D efforts are more long-reaching in scope, are coordinated mostly with the Steering Team, and may influence the medium- and long-term direction of the program.
Tasks:
o Develop and make available Best Practices for Usability Testing, including tools for usability testing and site evaluation that may be available to members already
o Web/textual content maintenance and development for researcher site
Research & Development:
o Explore browsing terms with Standards Working Group from a user studies standpoint.
o Role in looking at results of DP planning study. Members may need to attend in-person meeting in fall 2008.
o Work on effectively using Google analytics on the NWDA site and other user studies efforts
