Digital Services Program

The Digital Services Program (DSP) provides coordination and support for online services delivered at the network level in accordance with goals outlined in the Alliance's strategic agenda. In addition, the DSP identifies best practices for provision of digital services and develops or secures the infrastructure necessary to support collection, analysis, and provision of digital information required by other Alliance programs

Services
    • Offline storage
Send tapes, hard drives, and other media through the Courier to other institutions for safekeeping. This program provides excellent protection for a low, one time startup fee. For more information, please contact the Alliance.
      • Cloud computing
Much cheaper and more reliable than local hardware that must be periodically replaced, Alliance based cloud servers are just the ticket for short term projects or long term computing needs. For more information, please contact the Alliance.
        • Digital Preservation Policy and Procedure Sharing
Has your institution created a policy or procedure related to digital preservation that you wouldn't mind sharing? Contact us, and we'll put it here for others' benefit!

      • Digitization
      • If you have a concrete project as well as funding and are interested in assistance with pricing negotiation, please contact the Alliance.
