Identify the destination
of the item, and the owning site.
Alliance Borrowing bookbands are pre-printed labels designed to wrap
around the cover of a book (or manila envelope, cassette case cover, etc.). The
pre-printed bands speed up processing by relieving staff from individually
writing the destination site, and are more reliable than a piece of paper that
could slip out of the item. A bookband is prepared for each item processed, and
it is not re-usable.
